Excel Dashboard - Multi Pages Visualization

Data visualization and presentation has always been fascinating. The way whole data get summarized within a display screen and tells the complete story is actually fun and an entertainment.

Today's hack is all about this visualization in excel.
NO VBA code is used in this Dashboard !

I created this multi pages affect just with a simple excel trick and whole dashboard convey us results like visiting a website in a browser.

I have used very common terminologies of excel here. So lets kick it off.

In this post, i'll explain to give a multi pages affect and in the next coming posts - we will go though different charting techniques which are used here. Particularly we shall look at clustered/combined and speed-meter chart.

Dashboard multi pages affect


To create the multi page affect, just create the buttons outlook by giving a white border line.
Now create one sheet for each of the button section.
Go to insert>linke>hyperlink and give that button link to that page.

Simply giving such link will enable the user to see the multiple pages.
To solve it, you may go to file>options>Advanced and change the below setting. This shall allow you hide the sheet tabs, scroll bar and formula bar etc. and shall give a real website like look to your dashboard.
