World Economy Dashboard
Zoho analytics is being used as one of the leading data analytical tool these days.
In market, we find many analytical tools - from conventional Excel to Power BI, Tableau, SAS, Apache Spark and Zoho.
I have been using Zoho off and on and find this very soothing always to work with.
I would provide a brief description of how i created this Dashboard in just moments.
Database
This is related to World bank report of world economies for year 2018.
Data is available in the below format.
Zoho Products
If you aren't aware of the Zoho Analytics then please visit www.zoho.com.
Zoho offers many business products and solutions but here we will discuss Zoho BI, Reporting and Analytical Software.
Beginners Guide to Zoho
If you purchase the premium product then you can have multiple users while two users can have limited access in the basic product.
Once you access to Zoho BI Analytical software, you can go directly to "Import Data" button and start analyzing the data. It offers data import from a variety of sources as indicated below.
Once you select the files type and give it your database file address, Zoho will recognize the data in its own way and present a table to you.
Zoho actually creates tables from the imported data so once data is imported, it will ask you recheck the headings, data and date types. If you aren't satisfied with the Zoho recommended data type or heading recognition then please adjust at this stage. Anyhow you can alter any of these properties at a later analytical stage as well. But i'll recommend to sort this matter at this stage as many analytical functions which it offers depend on the data types and heading etc.

Once data is imported, you will be offered some auto generated reports by Zoho. For the beginners, i'll suggest to have a look at them as this give you more insight on how Zoho interprets data and generate reports and dashboards.
From the right hand side, you can go to create button and can create new reports. Report types include tabular, chart and dashboards etc.
To create the dashboard, you can create one report for each graph first and then create a dashboard and add all those already generated reports to the dashboard by dragging from the left hand side. It offers you a very user friendly approach to adjust the dashboard setting.
Below are two examples of creating a report and then creating a dashboard.
Chart report
Please follow the below steps to create a chart report.
Dashboard report
Please follow the below steps to create a Dashboard.
Dashboard is actually a combination of all reports you generated with this database. You can can keep on dragging those form left to the dashboard working area.
So this was for the day. Hope you like the post.
